Hello students, I have shared सुबह (Subah) for DAV Class 3 (Language II) and Class 5 (Language III) question–answers in Hindi and English.

Class 3 – Chapter 12 – सुबह (Subah)

I. पाठ के आधार पर रिक्त स्थानों की पूर्ति कीजिए – (Based on the lesson, fill in the blanks)

  1. सूरज की किरणों से सारी कलियाँ खिल जाती हैं ।
    (With the sun’s rays, all buds bloom.)
  2. सुबह ठंडी-ठंडी हवा चल रही है ।
    (A cool breeze is blowing in the morning.)
  3. मेहनत सबसे अच्छा गुण है ।
    (Hard work is the best quality.)

II. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए – (Answer the following questions in 20 to 25 words)

1. धरती का सुख कैसा है ? (How is the joy of the earth?)
उत्तर : धरती का सुख अलबेला है ।
Answer : The joy of the earth is unique.

2. सुबह के समय चिड़ियाँ हमें कैसे जगाती हैं ? (How do birds wake us up in the morning?)
उत्तर : सुबह के समय चिड़ियाँ हमें गीत गाकर जगाती हैं ।
Answer : In the morning, birds wake us by singing songs.

III. निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए – (Answer the following questions in 20 to 25 words)

1. सूरज की किरणें आने पर क्या होता है ? (What happens when the sun’s rays arrive?)
उत्तर : सूरज की किरणें आने पर अंधकार दूर हो जाता है । कलियाँ खिल जाती हैं और सारा जग सुंदर हो जाता है ।
Answer : When the sun’s rays appear, darkness goes away; buds blossom, and the whole world looks beautiful.

2. मेहनत करने वालों को सुबह कैसी लगती है ? (How does morning feel to those who work hard?)
उत्तर : मेहनत करने वालों को सुबह भली लगती है । सुबह के समय वे आलस छोड़कर काम पर लग जाते हैं ।
Answer : Those who work hard enjoy the morning. They drop laziness and start working in the morning.

IV. निम्नलिखित शब्दों के वचन बदलिए – (Singular to plural)

  1. किरण – किरणें
    ray – rays
  2. कली – कलियाँ
    bud – buds
  3. चिड़िया – चिड़ियाँ
    bird – birds
  4. कहानी – कहानियाँ
    story – stories

V. निम्नलिखित शब्दों में सही स्थान पर अनुस्वार लगाइए – (Add the anusvāra at the correct place)

  1. ठडी – ठंडी (cold)
  2. सुदर – सुंदर (beautiful)

VI. निम्नलिखित शब्दों में सही स्थान पर अनुनासिक लगाइए – (Add the chandrabindu where needed)

  1. कलिया – कलियाँ (buds)
  2. चिड़िया – चिड़ियाँ (birds)

VII. निम्नलिखित शब्दों में सही स्थान पर ‘र’ के रूप का प्रयोग कीजिए – (Use the correct ‘ra’ form)

  1. पातः – प्रातः (morning)
  2. दुगुण – दुर्गुण (vice / bad trait)
